At the hands of the Alchemist from the first game, and your character chasing after the trail of destruction left in the Alchemist's wake as he looks for a cure to his illness which has driven him insane.
The game starts with the destruction of the town of Torchlight. Torchlight II sets in a fantasy world where your character can be any of four classes, each with distinct skills and abilities. It is the sequel to Torchlight, and be capable of peer-to-peer multiplayer support and expanded modding capabilities. About its publisher and developer, Runic Games is its boss.
